Tree description
The tree has a height of between 40 and 50 m with a 20-30 m long, cylindrical branch-free trunk. The diameter is between 60 and 120 cm. Old trees usually have a low root set.
Wood description
Fresh bilinga heartwood is yellow to orange-yellow, darkening to orange-red to golden brown. The clearly distinguishable 30-50 mm wide sapwood is pale yellow to white.
